On November 12th, 2013, VIB invites you to a scientific symposium with top speakers from the public and private sector. They will reflect on the achievements of agrobiotechnology and share their vision on the role of modern plant sciences for a sustainable agriculture.
During the symposium, VIB aims to highlight the diversity in organizations and companies involved in plant sciences. The meeting will give you a unique insight in the most innovative plant research projects from corporate and non-profit players.
With Ingo Potrykus, (Golden Rice Project), Robert Fraley and Barbara Mazur (from Monsanto & Dupont), Richard Roberts (Nobel Prize winner 1993), Pedro Arcuri (EMBRAPA) and Jiayang Li (Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science) the symposium unites some of the most renowned scientists in this field.
