Cloning and the transplantation of cell nuclei

February 1997: a little lamb is presented to the world and its parents make themselves known. They are Scottish scientists. When they claim to have made a genetically identical copy from an adult sheep, their Dolly makes front-page news. Science Fiction seems to have become Science Fact: the biologists have succeeded in creating a complete living being from a single adult cell.

You can find out how they did it and how far things have advanced in the Dutch brochure 'Klonen en celkerntransplantatie (pdf - 1107 Kb)' (‘Cloning and the transplantation of cell nuclei’).
